How ChatGPT ads work
- Where it appears. An ad labelled as sponsored appears after the AI’s answer for users on the Free and Go plans and is matched to the topic of the conversation.
- How you pay. For impressions (CPM), clicks (CPC) or conversions, depending on the campaign objective.
- Restrictions. Healthcare, financial services, dating and politics cannot be advertised; ads are not shown to users under 18.
What we do
- We check whether your niche fits. We review the restrictions and what your customers ask ChatGPT about.
- We prepare the ads and the landing page. The ad should answer the person’s question, and the page should continue that answer.
- We set up the account and analytics. Objectives, budgets and lead tracking on your website.
- We test and scale. We compare cost per lead with Facebook, Instagram and Google and move budget to wherever it is cheaper.
Ads and GEO are different things
ChatGPT ads are paid impressions. GEO AI is the work of getting AI assistants to mention and recommend your business in their regular answers. They work best together.
